August started off with a nice weekend away for Ryan and Patrice. Patrice's good friend DeeDee got married at her parent's house on Whidbey Island. Some of the pictures are below. It was a beautiful wedding.

Patrice's Mom, Nonni, had her birthday on August 9th. PJ made her a nice card... she is quite talented. Then on August 13th, Payton's friend Jewel turned 2. We went over to Jewel's house for dinner, cupcakes and presents. Addison was there too and all of the girls had a good time. Then on August 19th, Addison turned 2! This party got a little wild with the Elmo Pinata. At first they all seemed to be ok with beating Elmo. After a few blows, Jewel got very concerned for Elmo and began to cry. Addison and Payton were less upset, mostly because they knew there was candy inside.
